After school Clubs at St Mary Magdalen’s
From January 2024 - Spring Term 1
Every day we will be running a sports or creative club as well as lots of childcare activities. Our sport or creative clubs finish at 4.15pm with our childcare continuing with lots of fun activities until 5.30pm.

Pick up arrangements:
Pick up will still be at the main school office, however parents will not be permitted to enter the school building. Please can parents wait outside the front door and we will send your child out to you.
Monday
Football - Football is the most popular choice at St Mary Mag's with boys and girls of all ages taking part. This club is fully inclusive for all children with something for everyone. We look at different aspects of skill development such as passing, dribbling and shooting but we always include lots of gameplay!
Tuesday
Arts and Crafts - The arts and crafts club includes everything from painting and drawing to collage and mosaic making. Often throughout the year we contribute and make displays for the schools big events such as remembrance day, Easter and of course sports day. This club has something for every child to unleash their creative side.
Wednesday
Dodgeball - Here for all children and guaranteed to put a smile on anyones face is Dodgeball club. This fast paced and intense game tests your agility, accuracy and nerve and is loved by everyone. We can’t wait to get going every Wednesday!
Thursday - Cooking is a 4.30pm pick up
Cooking (Please Enquire for Availability) - Not only is cooking an essential life skill, it is also great fun for all ages! We try and keep the recipes we use as healthy as possible while making sure the food is also delicious and fun to make. So far we have made all sorts from, home made bread to frozen yoghurts to crunchy granola bars. We work in a nut free school and we try our best to cater to all major allergies so please let us know in advance of any allergies your children may have.
Friday
Multi Sports - On Fridays PLAY will offer children the chance to pick and choose what sports they would like to play on a weekly basis. This offers a wide range of activities to experience and opportunity to use different equipment.
Examples of sports played could be Tennis, Indoor Football, Netball, Tag Rugby, Table Tennis, Badminton, Volley ball and many more exciting sporting opportunities for the children to choose from each week!

Discounts
Should you have 2 or more children booked on for a session you will recieve a 10% sibling discount for the second child/ren.
Adhoc
Adhoc sessions are available every day, for every sesion and for all children. Please let Mr Young know via email as soon as possible at harry@plaype.co.uk
Adhoc places are only available on days we are not full

All payments must be made by the end of the school day or bookings will not be accepted.
How to book
Booking your child a place at the St Mary Mag’s after school clubs is easy! You can do it in 2 ways, either by collecting a form from the school office and returning it with cheque or cash payment or by an online method. Payment details are at the bottom of this page.
Booking Online
To book online please fill out the form below and submit it.
You will then recieve an email confirmation of your child’s place at the club.
Once you have sent this email please make sure you return payment by cash / cheque to the school or by BACs transfer.
